DALLAS – May 11, 2016 – Baylor Emergency Medical Centers, a Baylor Scott & White Health affiliate, will continue its sponsorship of the KidsZone at AT&T Byron Nelson 2016 golf tournament, to be held May 19-22 at TPC Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, Texas.
All proceeds from the annual golf tournament benefit Momentous Institute, an organization dedicated to education and health programs designed to build and repair kids’ social and emotional health. The tournament has raised more than $143 million for local charities since its inception.
“We are thrilled to continue our involvement,” said David Stillwell, interim CEO of Baylor Emergency Medical Centers. “The AT&T Byron Nelson has a rich history in the community, and the KidsZone has absolutely become a family favorite. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support the tournament’s charitable mission, which makes such a tremendous impact on kids and families in the area.”
The air-conditioned oasis will feature interactive video games, photo opportunities with the Dallas Mavericks mascots, bounce houses and a miniature putt-putt course, along with other family friendly activities.
“Kids are at the heart of our mission and our tournament is proud to offer a family-friendly oasis like KidsZone,” said Tim Marron, 2016 tournament chairman and Salesmanship Club of Dallas member. “KidsZone is the go-to place to cool off and enjoy family-friendly activities for the many parents and kids who come out to our tournament. We are grateful to Baylor Emergency Medical Centers for again sponsoring this fan-favorite.”
In conjunction with Healthy Vision Month, free sunglasses and sunscreen will be offered at Baylor Emergency Medical Centers’ tent on Champions Way to promote eye health and protection against harmful UV rays.
